Amazon Prime Day deal: Save $600 on Google’s Pixelbook Go now!

Today are the days: Amazon Prime Day 2020 is currently underway and with it incredible discounts on a whole range of things, from tech to homeware to headphones to fitness to gaming. Everything has money off over the next two days.

Google has really gotten into the spirit, too, with a massive $600 discount on its Pixelbook Go laptop, one of the best and largest deals we’ve seen that offers a really great Chromebook for a fraction of the recommended price.

The basics of every Chromebook are simple: as the name suggests, Google’s Chrome browser sits at the heart of everything and the range of Google-made services underpins everything else. So instead of Word you get Google Docs and so on. It’s an efficient system and means Chromebook’s need less power than Windows laptops.

Google says the Pixelbook Go will get 12 hours of usage from a single charge, making it perfect for on-the-go professionals who use a browser all day long or students writing assignments and so on. The Go is really lightweight, too, weighing in at only two pounds. There’s a 1080p webcam for video calls, too.

It’s rare to see the price of a new laptop slashed by 80% but that’s one of the virtues of Prime Day: genuinely good discounts on the latest and greatest tech.
